Ackworth School has a secluded rural charm. Yet its location is handy for many of the UK’s major motorways which gives it accessibility and an appeal which attract organizers and events back year after year.

Set in its own extensive grounds, Ackworth’s gracious Georgian buildings have been fully modernised to offer most of the amenities one would expect to find at a first-class meeting place.

Ackworth School is an ideal venue for national or regional gatherings. Smaller groups can also be accommodated in a range of more modestly sized rooms.

There are three fully equipped halls to seat from 100 to 600 delegates, together with comfortable residential accommodation and high quality catering.

Ackworth also has an enviable reputation for its music and sporting facilities. The estate includes two large playing fields, eight tennis courts, a 30-metre heated swimming pool and a large, well equipped sports hall. All the School’s comprehensive amenities can be made available to event organizers.
