The beginning of each new academic term is a time to pause and reflect on what has been achieved over the past year, and then consider what one hopes to accomplish in the year ahead. Much is based on the GCSE and A level results and this summer our examination results have managed to surpass the excellent results of last year. Many of our students have achieved truly outstanding results. The award for the best performance at GCSE went to Jack Rhodes, who achieved 10 A*s. At A level it was a similar story, with some very good overall results and some truly stunning individual performances. The Highest Scholarship Awards went to Jack Plant and Claire Adams, both of whom gained a remarkable 5 A grades apiece. My heartfelt congratulations go to all of our examination candidates, whose efforts were justly rewarded.
