Ackworth School

Our pupils receive learning support in two areas:

1. English as a Foreign Language: Help for those students whose first language is other than English is organised by our EFL specialists and in particular by the Head of the International Centre, Edward Chambers.
2. Dyslexia: support for pupils with dyslexia and other learning needs is organised by our dyslexia specialist, Karen Chadwick.

The school also has an Autism Resource which educates four pupils, all of whom are funded by Local Education Authorities.
